As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities - Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks - Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in diesel vehicles and equipment - Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs - Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues - Perform engine rebuilds and overhauls as needed - Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs - Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role - Strong knowledge of diesel engines, including tractor-trailers, cranes, forklifts, etc.
