The HR Specialist will be on-site assisting employees and site management with HR support providing new hire orientations, benefit administration, maintaining updated employee records and other general HR operational tasks as assigned.
This position will report to the Divisional Human Resources Business Partner and will be required to be at our Twinsburg, OH facility 5 days a week.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for creating and maintaining all up-to-date employee files Work close with benefits team to facilities the explanation of benefits to New Hires and employees onsite Collaborate with internal teams including Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Operations to deliver a strategy to meet hiring targets Assist the Talent Acquisition team with new hire follow-ups and exit interviews to help assess, recommend needed organizational improvements, or reinforce best practices Work alongside the HRBP to investigate any employee relations issues/employee grievances with tact and confidence while maintaining confidentiality and observing ethical and professional standards.
Assisting/provide support to internal payroll team Assists with all HR projects and initiatives as requested Continuously drive and promote a healthy and safe work culture Assists with planning of company events Position Requirements Bachelor level degree with 2-3 years of support experience within an HR Department, preferably within a manufacturing environment Bi-lingual in English and Spanish, preferred Expert technical skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as the aptitude to learn new technologies Basic knowledge of benefits, invoice reconciliation, and human resources related procedures preferred Basic knowledge of multi-union experience Ability to provide consultation, advice and handle sensitive matters Excellent facilitation, oral and written communication skills; ability to prepare clear and concise reports and deliver formal presentations or training to all levels in the organization Ability to interface with all levels of employees and external entities Must be dependable, professional, and confident Incentives Annual bonus applied Full benefits package:
