This position supports several departments and is best suited to a high energy, reliable and well-organized individual, preferably a self-starter who can work independently to accomplish all goals.
Normal working hours are 8:
00 am to 4:
30 pm Monday through Friday, but this candidate must be flexible and willing to work overtime if needed.

The Purchasing Agent oversees all aspects of the purchasing department which include, but are not limited to, manually approving work orders to determine material requirements, procurement of material (verifying price, delivery and keeping purchase orders accurate), expediting, quoting/sourcing, systematic receiving and verifying incoming raw material (resolving any discrepancy if needed), and vendor performance ratings.
The Agent is also involved with inventory adjustments, systematic building of finished goods and assisting with annual physical inventory.
Other job requirements include:
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or equivalent work experience Experience with cost accounting and quoting process helpful Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Strong and professional communicator Ability to multitask.
Willingness to be flexible and a team player Background in manufacturing, particularly in the field of wire harnesses a plus Since this is a small company, this person must be willing to cross train and assist with varied duties other than purchasing if needed.
