A Technoform Sales Engineer works with our existing customers while also developing new relationships for Technoform's Bautec insulating strip products sold to manufacturers of aluminum window and curtain wall systems.
Responsibilities to include Technoform's sales processes and to oversee technical support of customer product evaluation and related production issues.
KEY
Responsibilities:
Plans and implement sales strategies that increase product awareness, generate product demand, and grow their territory.
Develops tactical action plans by account to reach budgeted sales objectives.
Increase market share by proactively selling and reaching out to new markets and focused target markets as measured against mutually agreed upon sales goals.
Manage customer expectations by providing/overseeing product design.
Identifies customer service requirements.
Ensures attentive service and efficient problem-solving.
Builds customer confidence in product and company by providing technical and application engineering support and information regarding products.
Interacts with customer's sales teams to provide support, assess needs, develop specifications, and promote us of specification of Technoform products.
Builds customer confidence in our solutions and company, and maintain customer loyalty, by effectively managing customer expectations and providing excellent attentive service and efficient problem-solving.
Contributes and manages Technoform innovation projects to improve our products and services.
Develops and nurtures productive relationships with architects, engineering consultants and commercial construction companies.
Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, scheduling, performance, and technical requirements and externally with partners, clients, vendors, etc.
Assists in the development of promotional and trade show exhibitions.
Attends local and regional industry conventions.
Position requires approximately 50% travel including overseas travel.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Graduate or undergraduate degree in science, engineering, architecture, building construction or equivalent.
2-3 years' experience in increasingly responsible technical sales and business development positions, preferably in the fenestration or construction industry.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Proficient understanding of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPointUnderstanding of principles and techniques of business developmentExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build an industry presence, create recognition, and support the Technoform brand.
Continual learner, with a thirst for building knowledge and skills, and broadening experience.
Self-starter with an ability to work independently and in a matrixed organization to accomplish results.
Ability to identify gaps and proactively work to close them.
Strong entrepreneurial skills to handle daily customer and company needs and work well in a team environment.
Experience in sales planning and forecasting and associated budget development.
Develops and works within budgetary constraints and manages both personal and customer daily activities.
Working AutoCAD(TM) knowledge and understanding of design detail drawings.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
