Flexo Process Engineer

Flexible Packaging company wants to hire an experienced Process Engineer with knowledge of the plastic film industry. Candidates with experience in flexographic printing, blown film extrusion, solvent inks, plastic film converting, etc are preferred.
Job is to design, communicate and perform operational improvement activities for printing. Establish proper procedures to meet local regulatory agencies criteria. Provide leadership, solve problems and improve overall printing plant efficiencies.
Requirements are:
Minimum 3-5 Years Experience.
Analytical mindset/skills are a plus
Leadership skills
Strong, driven candidate
Technical degree
Lean manufacturing knowledge/experience are a plus
Eucation: BS/BA degree required preferably in Engineering or Chemistry discipline; or ten years of manufacturing experience with three of those years being in a Process Engineering role; or a combination of both.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience preferably in printing. Environmental Engineering experience is a plus. Salary negotiable and based on experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
